Before ENFit®, enteral feeding tubes often used connectors that could mistakenly attach to IV lines or other medical lines, creating dangerous situations for patients. ENFit® eliminates this risk by introducing a connector system designed exclusively for enteral feeding, making it incompatible with non-enteral devices and significantly improving patient safety.

ENFit® features a distinct male-female connector configuration that is incompatible with Luer lock and other common medical connectors. This design prevents accidental tubing misconnections and reduces the risk of incorrect medication or fluid delivery.
